Who is Yahshua?

Who is Yahshua?

1a. Yahshua is the Savior of the world.

Yahshua means Yahweh is Salvation or Yahweh Saves. Yah is the masculine portion of Yahweh’s name, shua in Hebrew means salvation. Bring the two together, and you get Yahshua. His mission is in His name, to save people.

1b. His Miraculous Conception and Birth
Yahshua was born in Bethlehem of Judea, fulfilling ancient prophetic declarations. He was not conceived by human design but through the power of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin named Miriam. This miraculous entrance into humanity served as the physical bridge between heaven and earth. His conception and birth was announced by an Angel of Yahweh.

  • Supporting Scripture: Now the birth of Yahshua the Messiah was on this wise: When His mother Miriam was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. (Luke 1:18 HNB).
  • Supporting Scripture: “And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call His name Yahshua.” (Luke 1:31 HNB).

2. Early Life Before His Ministry
Growing up in the town of Nazareth, Yahshua lived a quiet, obedient life. He worked as a carpenter, intimately learning the human experience, labor, and subjection to earthly parents. Even in His youth, His profound spiritual depth astonished religious teachers. He grew steadily in wisdom, stature, and favor with both Yahweh and mankind, preparing silently for His purpose.

  • Supporting Scripture: “And Yahshua increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with Yahweh and man.” (Luke 2:52 HNB)

3. Public Ministry
Upon His baptism, Yahshua launched a powerful public ministry characterized by love, supernatural miracles, and authoritative truth. He healed the sick, cast out demons, raised the dead, and preached the good news of the Kingdom. He directly challenged the oppressive religious establishment of His day, demonstrating that true righteousness stems from a transformed heart rather than empty legalistic rituals.

  • Supporting Scripture: “How Yahweh anointed Yahshua of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: Who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed by the adversary; for Yahweh was with Him.” (Acts 10:38 HNB)

4. Death, Burial, Resurrection, and Ascension
The ultimate culmination of His earthly mission occurred when Yahshua was wrongfully condemned, beaten, and crucified. He willingly gave His life as a flawless sacrificial lamb to pay the penalty for human sin. He was buried in a sealed tomb, but death could not hold Him. On the third day, He rose triumphantly from the grave, 40 days later he ascended directly into heaven to sit at the right hand of Yahweh.

  • Supporting Scripture: “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Yahshua died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures;” (1 Corinthians 15:3–4 HNB)

5. The Spreading of His Ministry and Message
Following His ascension, the message of Yahshua exploded across the earth through His 12 chosen apostles, empowered by the Holy Spirit. Despite facing intense, violent persecution, these early believers courageously transformed communities, tore down cultural barriers, and established assemblies. This uncompromised gospel message bypassed localized borders, creating a global family of believers.

  • Supporting Scripture: “But ye shall receive power, after the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses unto Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8 HNB)

6. What His Salvation Means to Us Today
For us today, the salvation offered by Yahshua is not an empty promise; it is our absolute reality, peace, and daily lifeline. His sacrifice removes our guilt, delivers us from the bondage of sin, and restores our direct relationship with Yahweh. Because He lives, we possess a vibrant hope, a renewed purpose for living, and the unshakeable assurance of eternal life.

  • Supporting Scripture: “For Yahweh so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” (John 3:16 HNB)

7. His Divinity
Ultimately, Yahshua is not merely a righteous teacher or a historical prophet; He is the supreme Sovereign Creator Himself. He is Yahweh manifested in the flesh, the invisible Creator made completely visible to mankind.

In Him dwells the entire fullness of the Supernal nature of Yahweh in bodily form. To look upon His face is to see the true nature, character, and presence of Yahweh.

  • Supporting Scripture: “And without controversy great is the mystery of holiness: Yahweh was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.” (1 Timothy 3:16 KJV)
